Our Working Creed

  1. 01

    Sober, Considered Advice

Advice is candid and grounded in a realistic assessment of the likely outcome, including where that counsels against litigation.

  2. 02

    Effective, Expeditious Execution

Timelines in insolvency and arbitration are exacting. Matters are managed to meet them.

  3. 03

    Fees Agreed in Advance

Matters are staffed in proportion to their requirements, and the basis of fees is agreed in writing before work commences.

  4. 04

    The Client of the Firm

Clients are served by the Firm as a whole, so that each matter has the benefit of the appropriate expertise.

Our Approach

Alagh & Kapoor Law Offices is a litigation-led firm. The greater part of its work is conducted before the Supreme Court of India, the High Courts, the National Company Law Tribunal, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and arbitral tribunals, in matters of insolvency, arbitration, and commercial and real estate disputes.

This experience informs the Firm’s advisory practice. Contracts, investment documentation and corporate policies are prepared with an understanding of how such instruments are tested in litigation.

The Firm acts for Indian companies, multinational corporations, public sector undertakings, resolution professionals, lenders and emerging businesses.
